Trinity Children's Center (TCC) is an inclusive and therapeutic preschool located in Burlington, Vermont. TCC was established over 40 years ago, in 1976, as a campus children's center at Trinity College of Vermont. When Trinity College closed, TCC became a nonprofit program and is now located on the University of Vermont's Trinity Campus. TCC became NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) accredited for over 20 years and has since been awarded a 5 (out of 5) STARS rating in the State of Vermont's quality rating system.
TCC's mission is to provide the highest quality of early care and education for young children, ages 3 to 5. It is our intent to nurture the healthy development of children and strengthen and support the families from which they come. In an effort to support true equitable access for families, we intentionally include children with special needs and those with a broad range of socioeconomic and culturally diverse backgrounds.
In honor of our commitment to higher education and our collaboration with UVM, TCC also saves enrollment slots for UVM employees and students.
Trinity Children's Center is licensed as a full day Early Childhood Program by the State of Vermont.
